Bio: Don Martin is a New York Times, USA Today, and Indie bestselling author who writes across young adult fantasy, nonfiction, and poetry. He is best known for his critically acclaimed debut novel, Verity Vox and the Curse of Foxfire (2025), with the sequel Verity Vox and the Veil of Death slated for release in March 2027. Beyond fiction, his publishing career includes the nonfiction works Where Did Everybody Go?—a deep dive on loneliness—and The Dabbler's Guide to Witchcraft, alongside poetry collections such as The Playground and his #1 Amazon LGBT poetry release, while I wait to be a god again. Outside of writing, Martin is the creator and host of the Head On Firepodcast, where he interviews experts in misunderstood fields. Originally from Appalachia, a region that deeply inspires the folklore in his fiction, he now resides outside Chicago with his husband and pets.
